About Us – Steadymaker was founded in in the summer of 2014, in Guangdong, China, by two guys, Sunny & Paul. Don’t let the relatively recent start to the company fool you though; these guys know their stabilizer technology.
They have been involved in the radio controlled model scene for around 7 years, taking part in Chinese nationwide competitions in RC helicopter flying, and also working in the hobbies industry, so they are both well-versed in the technology behind the modern stabilizer.
In 2013 they decided to extend their skillset to cover aerial photography, and this included the construction and manufacture of aerial camera gimbals and drone piloting. This, in turn, lead to looking into gyroscopic systems, going from aerial technology, to handheld systems.
Over 2014 they released a range of handheld stabilizers and drones, covering GoPros to larger DSLR setups. Now, in 2015 they release their latest redesign, the Steadymaker Tank PLUS, using all of their skills and experience to deliver the best setup for the most economic, effective price range.
In order to bring the concept to a greater western exposure, the digital design company IN-NO-V8 took on the role, by creating this platform for greater visibility. Not purely for profit or for personal gain, the company was already a fan of the stabilizers, having purchased an earlier design and tested it in Montreal, Canada. After extensive communication with Steadymaker, they decided to get involved in the Western launch of the newer range of stabilizers, utilizing the product in their video productions. IN-NO-V8 believes in the company because they are a creative content creator, and embraces modern technology to achieve those aims.
IN-NO-V8 has 8 years of DSLR production experience, having been involved in projects seen on HBO, Intel, and MORE…
